Featured Story - CatholicPhilly
It was hard not to see someone walking the streets or sitting in cafes just south of Philadelphia City Hall who didn’t bear the mark of Christ on their forehead Ash Wednesday. Odds are, they’d visited one neighborhood’s historic Catholic church.
Featured Story - Harrisburg Catholic Witness
In a time that is seemingly seeing more people experiencing greater suffering due to personal, circumstantial, economic or social forces, it is easy to feel like you’re already in Lent before you enter it. Do we still have to sacrifice when we’re already suffering?

About Sorgi Stories
Anthony, Carrie and Jay Sorgi tell stories here. Sacred, often subtly. Sometimes song. Sometimes sports. Encountering. Engaging. Embracing all. Empathetic. Encouraging. From a compassion-centered Catholic love. (Enough alliteration?)
Jay, a Milwaukee native, is a longtime veteran news and sports reporter and storyteller for heritage media outlets like KYW Newsradio and WTMJ Radio. He also served national networks and worldwide brands like the Green Bay Packers Radio Network for which he gave 22 years, 18 on-air as a feature reporter and studio anchor.
Now, he tells stories for 10 Catholic dioceses from New York to Oakland and nationally-recognized nonprofits like the St. Vincent de Paul Society, along with his own content platforms. He is also author of Greater Than the Games, a study of Olympic host city bids through the lens of his hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin - a city and region unexpectedly equipped to host the Games. He still dabbles in sports stories, too.

Anthony is a growing sports reporter and commentator for WSJP and covers the Philadelphia Catholic League, one of the top high school sports conferences in America for basketball and football, through the PCL Sports Network.
Carrie, a proud West Virginia native? Stay tuned.
The Sorgi family now proudly calls the Philadelphia area home while trying to reach all 30 Major League Baseball stadiums for games with their hometown Milwaukee Brewers: 18 down, 12 to go. (Don’t worry. They also love Philly teams.)
